I remember planning my wedding and the evening entertainment was one of the things at the top of our list. We wanted to make sure that all of our guests from young to old had a good nights fun and entertainment ahead of them. Was it to be a live band, wedding party dj or both??

We decided to go a wedding party dj. I just thought that with a dj we could give him a short list of must play music and then he could use his experience to play music that would suit all ages throughout the night. As was the case our dj had a wide selection of music just like me that covered many different music genres spreading over the past 40 - 50 years. I knew because of this we could be sure that whatever song our guests requested the dj would have it or something very similar to keep them happy. 

To this day some people do decide to have both a wedding dj and band - however if you are at that stage of counting the pennies the wise option (in my opinion) would be to have a wedding disco. A dj of course doesn't have a set wedding playlist to perform, a dj can play pretty much whatever he decides will get the crowd going on the night. With my experience over the past 15 years I have noticed that each and every wedding can be very different that is why our vast music collection out performs that of a live band.
